Why More Americans Are Choosing Korea for Full-Body Checkups
From $10,000 in the U.S. to $400 in Korea - Without the Wait
In the U.S., healthcare can feel like a maze - especially for something as important as a full body screening. Even with insurance, a comprehensive checkup that includes imaging and cancer screening can cost thousands of dollars and require months of coordination.
But in Korea? You can get everything done - in one place, in one morning - for a fraction of the cost.
The U.S. Experience: Delayed, Expensive, and Fragmented
Here’s what a typical full-body screening might look like in the United States:
- $10,000+ in total costs (for those uninsured or out-of-network)
- A colonoscopy alone may cost over $3,000
- Multiple appointments across labs, imaging centers, and specialists
- 3 to 6 months to complete all required tests
- Complicated insurance approvals and referral processes
What Is a Full-Body Checkup in Korea?
In Korea, full-body checkups are streamlined, efficient, and preventive - designed to catch health risks before symptoms appear. Most packages are completed in just a few hours and include an extensive range of diagnostics.
- Packages starting around $400 USD
- Add a colonoscopy for just ~$150 USD
- 70+ screening items covering all major organs and systems
- All-in-one process - no need to visit multiple clinics
- No referral required
