William got his first full-body checkup in Korea after the pandemic. What struck him was how accessible and affordable it was next to the US system.
Donkyo Seo, in Seoul, was already the person friends-of-friends called when they needed to navigate a Korean hospital.
Both had felt the frustration of US healthcare — from opposite sides of it.
In 2024 the two lines converged into Himedi, a government-licensed platform connecting international patients with the checkups that changed how we think about our own health.
