The Signature health screening package includes all the tests from the Standard Checkup, plus the choice of four additional specialized tests covering areas like digestive health, specific CT scans, and cancer screenings. This thorough checkup package is aimed at the prevention of adult diseases and early detection of cancers with high incidence rates.

The Executive checkup package is designed for middle-aged and older adults, offering a comprehensive health assessment. It includes all the tests from the Signature package (which also includes tests from Standard), plus the choice of four additional specialized tests covering areas like digestive health, MRIs, cancer screening, and genetic risk assessments. This thorough checkup aims to provide detailed diagnostics and early detection of potential health risks associated with aging.

• Optional tests (ones that state Select1 or Select2) are included in the package cost, please select one in the intake form before checkout.
• Time selection is based on morning availability, between 8am to 1pm (does not represent duration of exam).
• Check-in at the 4th FL kiosk with your reservation number.
• Exam results can take up to 14 days. Results will be provided by email.
• If you would like to receive image files from any imaging tests, please note that due to privacy policies, image files cannot be sent via email.

To receive your image files, a CD must be requested either during the online reservation process or at the time of check-in at the hospital.

  • For Online Reservations: Please ensure you register a request for CD issuance when making your reservation with Himedi.
  • On-site Request: When the examinee arrives at the hospital, they must request the CD directly during registration.
  • The cost for issuing a CD is approximately 10,000 KRW.

Impressed

Overall, this was a great experience. Well-managed, clean, and thorough medical comprehensive at a price that really can't be beat (I'm coming from the U.S.). Support is pretty responsive as well via email and DMs. I was in at 8am and there were no waits at stations; an experience that could be as long a 3 hours during later hours was over in under one! The facilities are clean, optimized for locals but the staff speaks some English and everyone was friendly and warm. Afterward, they provide a voucher for a meal, which I thought was a nice touch of hospitality.

Easy way to book medical checkups

I chose to book with Himedi since they provided an easy way to book medical checkups in Korea for English speakers. The checkup screening at KMI was fast and efficient. They provide hospital clothes and a locker to store your stuff, and you can keep your phone on you to use while you wait for the next exam. The staff there were very helpful and most can speak English, some only knew basic words to help me onto my next step. I was not provided a translator with Himedi but was able to get around asking the staff for help. KMI also provided a meal voucher worth 6k won at the end of the screening for a restaurant down the road. The voucher had a map to help find the restaurant and the restaurant has a sign in front of it saying they take KMI tickets. I wish Himedi would've provided clearer checkin instructions. I wasn't sure which floor to go to to check into my appointment and had to ask the staff which floor to start on (4th floor). I also would've liked instructions on how to check into the checkin kiosk. It asked for a phone # but the one I provided to Himedi didn't work. The staff helped me by finding my reservation # from the confirmation email.

An Easy Way to Book Medical Checkups

Himedi provided an easy way to book medical checkups in English. Booking off Korean sites directly was confusing. The medical checkup itself was very insightful and easy when provided with a translator.
