Carotid Ultrasound (MediOne)

Ultrasound imaging of the carotid arteries in your neck to assess stroke risk. Measures artery wall thickness (CIMT) and detects plaque buildup that can lead to stroke. Recommended for those with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking history, family history of stroke, or over age 55. Early detection allows for preventive intervention before stroke occurs.
